This Saturday at Revolution will begin something that we have never seen at Revolution: Rev Up, our student ministry kicks off! I am so excited to see how this ministry will be able to reach students, but also their families. Please be praying for this as it kicks off on Saturday night.
We are also hitting a topic I have never preached on: Distractions and Deceptions. Here are some things we will be covering:
When I try to follow Jesus and do what He calls me to, will it get easier or harder?
Why does it seem the most sinful people have the easiest lives?
What do you I do when what I want to do or what I feel like God is calling me to do don’t fall into place?
How do I handle when friends and family tell me I am making a bad decision or criticize me?
All of us experience distractions everyday from either exploring Christianity, taking the next step in our journey with God, our marriage, job, or lives. What do we do with them? They are inevitable, so how do we handle them?
These are just a few of the things we will be trying to uncover on Saturday night as we look at Nehemiah 6:1 – 14.
So, do whatever you have to do to get to Revolution this Saturday night (and don’t forget to bring a friend with you)!
