Sunday is going to be a great day. We are looking at John 7:53 – 8:11 at one of my favorite parts of the Bible. This passage is often called “the woman caught in adultery”, which is part of what is going on, but so much more happens in this passage.
This passage shows us how far the grace of God reaches, how much the grace of God is able to change (anything and anyone) and how the grace of God changes us moving forward into the future.
This is a Sunday, that if you wonder if God has forgiven you, if God can forgive you, if God can mend a relationship in your life, you need to be there. If you don’t fall into one of those categories, you need to be at Revolution because someday you will find yourself in that situation.
This Sunday is also the first day of sign-ups for our missional communities. Our MC’s are smaller groups that meet around the city on different nights for the purpose of community and discipleship. We say this all the time, but if you don’t get plugged into an MC, the countdown for you sticking at Revolution begins to tick as this is where care, shepherding and growth happens best. And we would not anyone to miss out on those things.
I’ll see you this Sunday at 10am and be sure bring someone with you who doesn’t know Jesus (you never know when a simple invite will make an eternal difference).
Remember, we meet at 8300 E. Speedway Blvd. at 10am.
