I am the Lead Pastor of Beginnings Church, a missional community in Tucson, AZ trying to live out the rhythms of Jesus. Our dream is to become a community that lives by faith, is known by love & is a voice of hope.
I am married to an incredibly beautiful woman and we have 2 kids (thankfully our daughter looks more like her mom everyday). I am a passionate Steelers fan and I read like it is going out of style (secretly I always wish I would have bought stock in Amazon because I keep them in business).
I am a Starbucks addict, which is where you can find me most of the time either reading or having a meeting. I usually order something iced because I don’t like hot coffee very much, and it is too hot here to drink hot coffee. But my current fav is a Hot Venti White Chocolate Mocha w/ Whip.
If you ever want to do something nice for me, a gift card to Starbucks or Amazon will be just fine.
I have written articles for SAM Journal, Youthworker Journal & The Journal of Student Ministries. I speak at conferences around the country on the topics of leadership, change, teamwork, worship, preaching, and the missional/emerging church. I am hoping to one day write a book. I have an M.Div. in Organizational Leadership from Biblical Seminary and I am currently working on a D.Min. in Advanced Missional Leadership at Biblical Seminary.
