This Weekend @ Revolution: Submitting to Godly Authority

There are a lot of things happening right now at Revolution Church. Lots of good things.

First up, we are continuing our series Weird this weekend and looking at the how we submit to authority in our lives. All of us have authority in our lives. Some godly, some ungodly. Some authority we like, some we dislike, others we are indifferent to and just accept. But what do we do with it? What are we as followers of Jesus, changed by the gospel, how do we respond to authority? We’ll be looking at 1 Peter 2:11 – 17 if you want to read ahead. Because all of us find ourselves under authority, this is an incredibly relevant topic for us to consider and look at.

If you missed this past week at Revolution Church, I made a big announcement about the future of Revolution that you can listen to here or read about it here.

We also started the season of Lent this past week, which we’ve encourage our church to participate in. If you are interested in getting more information about that, why we are doing that and what it looks like, you can go here.

I also want to get on everybody’s radar 2 special weekends that are coming up on March 10 & 17. We will be looking at men, women, marriage and relationships those 2 weekends from 1 Peter 3. We’ll be sharing more details this weekend and next about this. But needless to say, it will be something you don’t want to miss. Katie will be joining me and we’ll be doing a live Q & A to go with the messages.

So, a lot is happening right now at Revolution and it is only getting better.

So, do whatever you have to do to be at Revolution this week (and bring someone with you, you never know how a simple invite can make an eternal difference). An easy to invite someone is to send them an e-vite.

Remember, we meet at our NEW services times at 4 & 5:30pm at 6620 E 22nd. St.
See you Saturday.
