Saturday Night Mind Dump…

• Awesome night tonight
• The band brought the heat
• I am blown away by our musicians, we have been blessed with a lot of talented people that totally set me up every week to throw down
• Felt like I nailed my talk
• Definitely felt better than the last 2 weeks
• God was moving and doing some awesome things tonight
• Grateful to Dr. Ray Vander Laan and Rob Bell for a lot of the work they’ve done on Jewish history, it was a huge help tonight
• Brendan did a great job as the high priest tonight
• Took a huge risk tonight by having people stand and cheer at the end of the sermon. Didn’t know how that would go, but it went awesome

• I think the problem for most Christians is they have no idea the freedom they have in Christ
• Too many Christians make following Jesus about a list of rules, guilt and shame, when it is about grace
• Next we’ll be looking at the idea of faith and doubts, how we have faith, what faith looks like, how we reconcile faith and doubts and how we can be sure of something
• Should be fun
• Had several people tell me tonight, “It’s time for me to take the next step with God”
• That never gets old
• I never cease to be amazed at our Volunteers. They blow my mind!

• Announced tonight that we are hiring Jennifer Ingram to head up Planet Rev., it will be great having her on board
• She brings a ton of experience to Planet Rev., and it frees up Katie to be able to have more of a presence in the service and to concentrate more on our family
• Went to see Angels and Demons last night with Katie, great movie

• We have our LEAD Team meeting this Tuesday, love being with our team leaders to be together, celebrate what God is doing at Revolution and pour into our leaders
• Katie and I went to a natural family planning class this past week, pretty interesting stuff
• Always meet “interesting” people there
• Have nothing on the schedule the next 2 days, love it
• Maybe I’ll get to sleep in tomorrow, that would be nice
