This Weekend: When What I’m Doing Stops Working

Posted by Josh on April 29, 2009
Posted in: gospel, jesus, messages, new testament, preaching, revolution church, theology. Tagged: hebrews 8, m.c. hammer, reveal, when what i'm doing stops working.

The amazing thing about human beings is that regardless of the effectiveness of something, if we are emotionally attached or committed to something, we will continue doing it.

If your car gets stuck in the snow, we still keep our foot on the pedal knowing that at any moment, we will break free and move forward. But we get more stuck.

How do we move forward? How do we stop doing what no longer works? We’ll also be looking at what Jesus is doing now and what that has to do with our lives and how that helps us to move forward.

These are a few of the things we will be working through this Saturday as we continue our series on the book of Hebrews.

You do not want to miss it, there might be a little M.C. Hammer this week. You never know.
