Next Series: Transformed

We just finished out Passages series. It was awesome to hear what God put on Scott, Stephanie, and Dave’s heart to share with us. I love hearing stories from other people and hear what God is teaching them. This is definitely an idea we will do again.

This Saturday, we are starting a series on 1 John called “Transformed.” We will look at how change happens, how do you really become transformed by something, how do you get rid of idols in your life and how to not sin. The main point of 1 John is “Love God, Love People.” An incredibly simple concept, but a difficult thing to live out.

This will be a great series for us as a community as we get closer to our launch. I think this will allow us to take a hard look at ourselves and concentrate on building up our core team as we get ready to launch!

August 2:  Forgiving Others Because I Know God  (1 John 2:7 – 14)

August 16:  Obeying God Because I Know God  (1 John 2:28 – 3:10)
August 23:  Loving People by Uprooting Idols  (1 John 3:11 – 24)
August 30:  The Essence of God  (1 John 4:7 21)
September 6:  Loving God by Uprooting Idols  (1 John 5)
